Learn to Skate

Who: We welcome both beginner hockey players and figure skaters. Our classes are geared towards anyone wanting to learn to skate towards and end goal of playing on a hockey team or figure skating in competitions and exhibitions.

What: Learn to Skate USA curriculum

When: Sundays 1:00-2:00pm Class format includes 25 minutes of instruction and 25 minutes of structured practice

Where: Northlands Ice Center 10400 Reading Rd Cincinnati, OH 45241

Why: Because we have a passion for ice sports and we think you will too!

How much: $199 for 10 full weeks in cludes ice, coaching and rental skates. Payment increases by $50 if paid less than 72 hours prior to the 1st class

Basic Skills 1-6

For skates ages 6+

2 - Backward skills and more

5 - Backward edges, Forward crossovers and more

6 - Turns, stops, and more

Freeskate Class (pre through 6)

For Skaters that have completed Basic 1-6.

For individuals that need skating skills to move into Learn to Play Hockey.

2 - Forward strides, Backward swizzles, 1 foot pushes, snow plow stops and more

3 - Forward and backward c-cuts, Backward stops and more

4 - Backward one foot glides, Forward and Backward crossovers, hockey stops and more
